Ishii\'s films combineren de ademloosheid van commercials en actiefilms met de compromisloze sensibiliteit van de experimentele film. Het zijn fysieke ervaringen, mede door de soundtrack, die nogal wat eisen stelt aan de technische uitrusting van de bioscoopzalen.
