This is the original Color version (Reconstituted)... When filming this movie Jacques Tati used 2 cameras a black and white and a color, at the time the studios were unable to handle the color version so only the black and white movie was released... Once a year the fair comes for one day to the little town 'Sainte-Severe-sur-Indre'. All inhabiters are scoffing at Francois, the postman, what he seems not to recognize. The rising of the flagstaff under his direction nearly leads into a catastrophy - but everybody tells him, how important his work is. Sneering up Francois continues in the evening of the festive day. Made drunk, some 'friends' persuade him to watch a short-movie in a tent. This film is a stunt-show, covered as 'The modern delivery-techniques of the US-post. Francois takes it serious, not recognizing being teased. Next day, after getting sober in a goods wagon, he reorganizes his own delivery-methods. He has not the equipment, as his ideals in the short-movie have, but using only his bicycle, he makes good, funny progresses. Director: Jacques Tati

Many of the inmates here are members of drug cartels and gangs like the Mexican Mafia. At Cedes, nobody ever talks \'politics\' or about violence behind bars. To do so would be to risk reprisals. A substantial number of prisoners here have served time in both American and Mexican prisons and many prefer life at Cedes, largely because of the astonishing amount of freedom they are given. The novel visitation policy allows inmates to meet loved ones in an open picnic area from 9am to 5pm, six days a week. In some cases conjugal visits are allowed in private rooms. Officers believe such perks reduce tension inside the prison but, as the warden and officers reveal, along with these freedoms comes constant danger. Champa?s father Dinu is persuaded to forbid Champa to go to the fair with Rajiv, as she had planned. But Rajiv is not so easily thwarted, and dressed as a female in purdah, he gets a lift on the truck that is taking the girls. A song and dance number on the back of the moving truck then takes place.
