The Clock and the Man

Fathi, son of an impoverished wealthy family, is appointed to work as a clerk in the nearby town of his hometown, Acre. To his surprise, every morning knocks on the door wake him up before his alarm clock goes off. Fathi decides to ambush the unknown early riser, and discovers an elderly man who disappears as soon as the door opens. During the film, the reasons of the old mans strange deed are revealed. The film is based on the story The Clock and the Man, written by Samira Azzam, a Palestinian writer who lived in Acre.
