Little House on the Prairie Season 9 Episode 9

Little House on the Prairie: Having a railroad built to pass directly through Walnut Grove sounds like a wonderful idea for many town residents, particularly since it would increase the size and popularity of the area. Some other townspeople--mainly Laura--are concerned that this will affect the quiet simplicity of their beloved Walnut Grove, but despite these reservations, arrangements are made to make the necessary additions. Trouble strikes when the Wilder and Carter residences threaten to be destroyed in order to make necessary space, and Almanzo and John's fierce refusals may create serious consequences for them and their families. With the initial excitement of the railroad quickly wearing off, will it end up being what Walnut Grove wants after all?
