The Bold and the Beautiful: Ridge learns from Brooke that Rick spent the night at the house and is irate. Donna tells Thorne and Stephanie that someone set fire to Rick's house and asked if he had died. Owen thinks that he's had it at Forrester with the tanking of the Surf Line Rick will need a scapegoat. Marcus says they better not find out who tried to get rid of Rick and tries again and this time succeeds. Steffy sees the burnt porch and Lt. Baker and Charlie assure her that Rick is okay and is at his mother's house, they then wonder what brought Steffy to the house so early in the morning. Brooke is shocked to learn that Rick and Steffy made love last night. The list of suspects who attempted murder grows almost as quickly as the flames engulfed Rick's beach house. Stephanie tells Ridge a theory that Rick set the fire himself. Lt. Baker tells Brooke that some footprints were found and like someone drove to the house and then took off afterwards.
