Shakugan no Shana: Yuuji supposedly disappears as a Torch on Christmas Eve and everyone forgets him like they would forget the disappearance of a torch except for a select few including Shana, Kazumi, Satou, Tanaka, and the other Flame Hazes. Shana and Kazumi are especially hurt by this and weep as they've supposedly lost the one they love. Shana and Kazumi receive the letters they had given to Yuuji to choose one of them in order to end the competition which renews their hope. During the episode, short depictions of Yuuji are shown with him talking to what could be Silver who tells him the true fate of Flame Hazes; that they are tools and can never stop fighting the Guze no Tomogara. Margery, Wilhelmina and Satou all look for information about the Reiji Maigo and the possible whereabouts of Yuji as Shana trains to be able to stand firm and not back down from whatever she must face. At the end scene, it shows Yuuji as the Snake of the Festival with his long hair walking up to the throne in Sereidan as the new leader of the Bal Masque.
