Murder, She Wrote: During a short black-out in the studio where Jessica is recording a book for the blind, the studio co-owner is murdered. The police suspect Jessica's producer, Greg Dalton, of the crime after the victim planned to end the series of audio books for the blind, and one of Greg's steak knives is found to be the murder weapon. But a greedy widow, an over-the-hill country star and a bootleg tape scheme complicate the case and provide more suspects. And Jessica still needs to answer the question of how a killer could see in the dark.
