The Flying Doctors : Kate and David come into conflict when a boy, Ricky, is hit be lightning. Although Sam manages to get the Nomad to the scene of the incident, it is unable to return to the Crossing because of the ferocity of the storm. Kate argues that euthanasia is the answer as Ricky is in so much pain, however David stands by his Hippocratic Oath and is determined to save him. The friction is made worse when Ricky's grandfather Ted sides with Kate and unplugs the life support machine. It's a race against time and the weather to save Ricky's life. Meanwhile, Vic experiences problems with his beer supply and there are problems with Kate's wedding dress.
