The Flying Doctors : When Vic accidentally runs over a girl, it starts a whole chain of events. While the injured girl Fiona is in hospital being treated for minor injuries, it emerges that her mother Judy is suffering from terminal cancer. Judy's friend Rick arrives at the hospital and he is eager to be made legal guardian of Fiona so that when Judy dies he can look after her: he is convinced he is Fiona's father. However Judy is adament that Rick is mistaken, but Clare is not convinced that she is telling the truth. Legally the only way to ensure Rick's wishes come true is for Judy and Rick to marry.
