A devasting rampage of distressing and targeted burglaries is terrorising the elderly and vulnerable around a single town. The MO is the same every time and the police are called out almost daily to yet another ransacked address, but the perpetrator evades them. Detectives quickly suspect that the break-ins might be the work of one man who is known to them. CID Inspector Tom Smith and his team need to find and apprehend him fast – and that's not going to be easy. This serial offender is no stranger to police tactics, so they need to act fast and second guess their target. As the suspect continues to evade capture, the burglaries carry on, then after days of investigation the detectives finally pull in a suspect.
